Junior Tennis Programmes

At Whitehouse Tennis Academy, our junior programmes are designed to grow with your child—building coordination, confidence, and a genuine love for tennis at every age and stage. From first-time players to teens preparing for competitive match play, we offer clear pathways that keep tennis fun, social, and development-focused.

We group our coaching into five key stages:

  • Scoop It Up (Ages 4–6)

  • Red Stage (Ages 6–8)

  • Orange Stage (Ages 9–11)

  • Green Stage (Ages 11–13)

  • Teen Tennis (Ages 13–18)

Each stage uses age-appropriate equipment and game formats so players can learn safely, progress steadily, and have fun!

Class Sizes

To ensure every player receives quality attention and plenty of time on the ball, all junior tennis classes are capped at a maximum of 8 children per class. For example, Red Stage Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced each have a maximum of 8 players per group, and the same applies across our Orange and Green stages.

Programme Fees

All junior coaching programmes except for Teen Tennis are $20 per session, paid term by term. For example, a 10-week term costs $200.

Teen Tennis is $25 per session paid term by term.

After your initial sign-up and first payment, you will be invoiced at the start of each term to confirm your child’s place in their class.

Progression & Levels (Red, Orange & Green Stages)

Within our Red, Orange, and Green stages, we offer three levels of classes—Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced.

Each class clearly outlines the skills and on-court abilities a player needs in order to join that group, so children are always training at a level that matches their experience and confidence.

At the end of every term, players receive a progression report showing what they’re working towards and the specific criteria required to move up to the next level. Coaches will indicate on the report which criteria have been achieved, giving families a clear picture of progress and what comes next in their child’s tennis journey.
